Moar Tellu Comic Madness
Colored Tellu outfits
Clothing is difficult for those unacustomed to them.
Tribe ladies in their various colors. I promice the tribe names will be more inventive than 'Brown', 'Red', 'Purple', 'Blue', and 'Orange'. Promice. These colors will apear a lot more in the comic, making for a very intriguing setting I hope I can pursuede the reader to take on faith. The best settings are like that in my opinion. For anyone who has ever read (or needs to read! http://rice-boy.com/) Rice Boy, you know that the setting was something that the reader took on faith. It was so crazy, that you didn't expect it to be explained, it explained itself. When you're dealing with a fantacy setting, it's tiresome and horrible to explain every little detail, so, the best kind of fantacy setting explains itself. That is what I hope to achieve.

HOLEE
Snaaaaap O8
Morgan Brewer, first in her division (15-18 age) at the Fort Worth Stock Show Art Competition? Really?
Yes really! WOO~gosh. 2,000 dollar scholarship, too! I am a happy camper today! You should be lucky I waited a day to post this, else it would have been a steady stream of caplocked 'wooo-hoos' and other nonsense. I have calmed down, but I am still so happy.
Mostly because I've been entering this contest for 8 years now. And I finally win big! I had a 'thankyou' speech planned for when they called my name, but they wouldn't let me near the microphone. ;P So I'll give it to y'all.
I want to thank my grandmother, first. Who put me through art lessons starting from when I was 8. When it boils down to it, she's the reason I've won this. I also want to thank my art teacher, who is such an amazing traditional artist, she still blows my stuff out of the water <3. I also want to thank my father, who named the piece.
But yes! I'll be getting pics up asap, as soon as I can get my grubby little hands on the camera! The article will be in the Superbowl Sunday edition of the Star-Telegram and all the other winners will be displayed on the website as well! Have a look at the grand prize winner, her piece was lovely.

Gearra Flur and Anticipation of the Weekend
I am hevily anticipating this weekend. I am. I can hardly stand it. In Novermber, I entered the Ft. Worth Stock Show and Rodeo Art Contest. They've upped the pot this year, too. Top holes Grand Prize through 6th place win money in the form of scholarhips (I as a senior to be graduating highschool can sure use!) with the grand price being 3,000 dollars and decending in value after that. I got the call back in December that I was one of the top seven finalists. Naturally, they only tell you your in the top seven to draw out the suspence, so you don't know if you're in the hole for money. The jerks.
Ft. Stock Show site: http://www.fwssr.com/
This weekend is when I finally find out if I'm in for money. Ooooogoodness I can't take it! D: A whole week is too long to wait! Somebody needs to finally comment on this blog and tell me to suck it up and be patient.

Eh, ehough of my lamenting. Have a sketch!
Kind of an old sketch of Murron and her (late) husband Nuet. Nuet wasn't a very great guy. As you can see, he wasn't married for his brains or his stunning wit.... >.>
This is Frith Rair and Murron. Bow hunting lessons, obviously
Let it be known that Frith is a much nicer fellow than Nuet.

Good Dog
A couple of sketches from a short story I've been working on, hevily influenced by Brave New World, called 'Good Dog'. These are a few of the main characters in the story. Probably say more about it later when I have a lot more written. This is a traditional sketch, one sketch slightly inked, then jazzed up on photoshop.

Mooooaaaaar D:
...submitted inbetween terrible paragraphs of a scholarship essay. x|
More Thorns sketching time. These are of my character Bey and another player's character, Grigori Hosturn, who is not only short, human, and old, but suffers from a growth on his thyroid that produces way too much adrenaline, which is hereditary in his family. But that's a pretty clinical definition, most who know him just realize that 'that fellow seriously isn't right in the head'. This is only half-true. Mostly you just don't want to make him angry. Grigori and Bey work on the same ship crew, and they're such an obvious foil. Mostly they're hillarious together.
Also, Grigori is scared of horses >3

Curry! I made some!
Pics or it didn't happen, you say? Well there you go. It did happen. I made curry!
For anyone who knows me, this is a 'big deal' that Morgan is cooking. She doesn't do this too much. ;P
Also, yeah, I'm a bit messy.

Wait, you say, isn't this supposed to be a 'sketch blog'? We don't want to see this gal's attempts at being domestic! D:|
Well worry not, my dears.
